The president of the regional disaster management and relief organization commission, the Governor of Bizerte, Salem Ben Yacoub, announced that, following consultations with the members of the regional relief organization commission and its local counterpart, it was decided to close the unnumbered paved road connecting Regional Road No. 58, at the Sogman area, to El Blaket, in the Sajnan delegation, due to the rising water level in the Sajnan Wadi.

The governor specified that traffic has been temporarily diverted to Regional Road No. 66 linking Sijane to El Blaket, in order to guarantee the safety of road users and to prevent potential risks.

The president of the regional relief organization and disaster management commission called on all road users to respect the guidelines and recommendations of the commissions and the competent bodies, to exercise vigilance and to avoid taking any risks, especially in the context of the current climate disruptions.

He also stressed that the regional disaster management and relief organization commission, as well as its local structures in all delegations of the Bizerte Governorate, remain in a state of permanent meeting and fully capable of mobilizing to intervene and respond to the various requests and needs in the region.
