The External Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisie) announced that Tunisia hosted from February 10 to 12, 2026 a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Ammar Altaf, Deputy Under-Secretary for Industries at the Ministry of Investment.
“Welcomed by Samir Abdelhafidh, Minister of Economy and Planning, the delegation reaffirmed the common desire to elevate bilateral economic cooperation to a higher level, by fostering industrial partnerships and joint high value-added projects, notably in the automotive and mobility sectors,” reads a FIPA-Tunisia press release.
And it added that the meetings with FIPA-Tunisia and the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA) highlighted Tunisia’s competitive advantages, the performance and innovation capacity of the Tunisian industrial ecosystem, and the concrete opportunities for partnership, co-development, and investment.
It should be noted that this visit aligns with the follow-up to the 12th session of the Tunisian-Saudi Joint Commission, held in Riyadh in December, and confirms the shared commitment to a sustainable and innovative win-win partnership.
