The units of the Sidi Bouzid National Guard zone dismantled an international network active in narcotics trafficking, as part of ongoing efforts to combat the drug trade and to pursue criminal networks.
According to a press release published Sunday evening by the General Directorate of the National Guard, the operation led to the arrest of three foreign nationals, aged 28 to 34, as well as the seizure of 270 cannabis bricks and a car registered abroad, used for their movements.
After consulting the public prosecutor, he authorized the Sidi Bouzid Investigations Brigade to open a judicial inquiry into this matter, with the suspects placed in police custody. Two other individuals were also added to the list of wanted persons to continue the investigations and to take the necessary legal measures against them.
