The day of Friday, July 31, 2026 will be marked by several national appointments of an economic, institutional and civil-society nature. The program includes, notably, the launch of an award dedicated to road safety as well as the export of the first batch of Tunisian electric vehicles from Bako Motors to Germany.

Event Schedule

09:00 – Launch of the Road Safety Award

Location: Headquarters of the World Health Organization Office in Tunisia

The Tunisian Association for Road Safety will host a ceremony devoted to the launch of the Award for the Most Committed Company in Road Safety.

10:00 – Export of the first electric cars from Bako Motors to Germany

Location: Headquarters of Bako Motors, El Mghira Industrial Zone, Ben Arous Governorate

The Minister of Trade and Export Development will preside over the export operation of the first batch of electric vehicles produced by the company Bako Motors to the Federal Republic of Germany.

The day will be notable for highlighting two major issues: promoting road safety within companies and developing Tunisian exports in the electric vehicle sector. The shipment of the first batch of Bako Motors cars to Germany thus represents a particularly anticipated economic event.
