Thirteen students from the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENSIT) will travel to China as part of an international one-year academic program, under cooperation and partnership agreements concluded between the Tunisian institution and the Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology.
This marks the first student delegation of this kind in ENSIT’s history to travel to China, an initiative that testifies to the school’s development of international academic cooperation and its openness to Chinese universities and training institutions.
During their stay, the students will receive specialized training in several cutting-edge technological fields, notably artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, industrial big data, Python programming, and applications of generative artificial intelligence. The program also includes language and Chinese culture studies.
The curriculum also includes the execution of industrial and practical projects within companies, as well as on-the-ground training opportunities in a company active in the fields of electric vehicles and modern technologies. This experience will allow students to gain professional expertise in an international industrial environment.
This initiative is part of a broader partnership between the National School of Engineers of Tunis and the Chinese institute. This includes mobility of students and teachers, the execution of joint scientific research projects, the development of laboratories and modern technologies, as well as co-supervision of projects.
Both institutions are also studying the possibility of establishing joint training programs, international degrees, and mechanisms for transferring expertise and technology between Tunisia and China.
