Tunisia has strongly condemned the attacks that targeted several cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a direct threat to its security and stability.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad expressed Tunisia’s total solidarity with Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its support for any measure aimed at preserving the Kingdom’s stability as well as the freedom and safety of maritime navigation.

The ministry stressed the need to prioritize dialogue and peaceful solutions, calling for avoiding any action that could worsen the situation, exacerbate tensions and jeopardize the foundations of peace and security in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that commitment to peaceful solutions would help thwart the maneuvers of those who seek to harm and derail their plans to sow discord and division, while preventing the widening of the conflict and the destabilization of the region
