A Tunisian economic mission will travel to Algeria from September 22 to 24, 2026, as part of an initiative organized by the Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia International (CONect International), in partnership with the Algerian Confederation of Citizen Employers. The objective is to strengthen relations between Tunisian and Algerian companies and to explore new opportunities for cooperation and partnership.
This mission takes place in a context marked by the proliferation of initiatives aimed at boosting economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the private sector. It follows the signing, in Tunis in May 2026, of a protocol of agreement and cooperation between CONect and the Algerian Confederation of Citizen Employers, intended to support economic cooperation and to develop relations between the companies of the two countries.
Organized in Algiers, the mission aims to enable Tunisian companies to meet their Algerian counterparts and to examine the possibilities of establishing commercial and investment partnerships. The program includes bilateral business meetings, networking sessions, and field visits to Algerian companies.
According to CONect International, the sectors involved include notably manufacturing industries, international trade, agriculture, agro-food industries, construction materials, health, the pharmaceutical industry, renewable energy, energy transition, transport, logistics, consulting, business services, and digital innovation.
These efforts are part of a broader dynamic aimed at strengthening the Tunisian-Algerian economic partnership, in a context of diversification of cooperation areas between the two countries and growing interest among economic actors in developing exchanges and creating new partnerships.
Direct encounters between Tunisian and Algerian companies should also help better identify market needs and explore cooperation opportunities in several sectors, thereby contributing to the development of commercial and investment partnerships between the two sides.
The economic mission also aims to strengthen direct contacts among business people and to identify new opportunities for Tunisian products and services on the Algerian market, in order to further support economic partnerships between the companies of the two countries.
