Traffic Advisory: Widening Works at the Capital’s Southern Entrance

The Ministry of Equipment and Habitat announced that, as part of the implementation of the project to widen the southern entrance to the capital, Lot No. 2, works to lay the road surface wearing course will begin in the Jebel Jelloud area.

These works will require a partial detour of traffic on two lanes in each direction, for both motorists heading toward the city center of Tunis and those leaving the capital toward Sousse.

The traffic modification will affect a stretch of about 1 km and will last for one week starting Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The Ministry of Equipment and Habitat calls on all users of this road to respect the signaling in place and to reduce their speed as they approach the work zone.
