News

UNIMED – The company finished the first half of 2026 with a profit of 8.8 MD versus 10.4 MD in the first half of the previous year, a decline of 15.2%.

The operating result nonetheless shows a 15.5% rise to 20.6 MD. First-half revenues declined by 10.8%, affected by the drop in export subcontracting, while operating expenses fell more sharply by 18.5%. Financing costs fell from 3.2 to 2 MD over the same period.

The decrease in net profit is explained by the recognition, during the first half of 2026, of the definitive loss resulting from the tax audit, following an agreement reached with the tax administration, for an amount of 4.4 MD, as well as a write-down of inventory obsolescence of 1.8 MD.

MONOPRIX – According to the company’s activity indicators, the revenue excluding tax (HT) for the third quarter of 2026 registered a growth of 8.19% compared to the same period in 2025. Cumulative through September, HT revenues rose 7.8%.

The wage bill ratio for the quarter rose from 7.68% in 2025 to 7.56% in 2026. This improvement is explained by the growth in revenue.

The balance sheet of financial charges and income improved in 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. The evolution of financial income is mainly linked to an increase in investment income. The number of active points of sale is 90 stores, i.e. 2 more stores since September 2025.

SIPHAT – The company’s revenue for the third quarter of 2026 rose by 105% compared to Q3 2025. Revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose by 39% compared to the first nine months of 2025.
