The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) Appeals Commission on Monday delivered its verdict regarding the appeal related to the match between Avenir Sportif de La Marsa and Étoile Sportive du Sahel.
The commission decided to confirm the decision of the office of the National Professional Football League (LNFP), which had ordered the rescheduling of this match.
For reference, Étoile du Sahel had initially contested the result of the match with the League, due to a change made without the referee’s authorization. Following the League’s decision to order the playing of a new match, AS Marsa, in turn, filed an appeal to have it canceled.
This encounter, counting for the fourth day of the Ligue 1 championship, had initially turned in favor of AS Marsa, who had won by one goal to nil. This result was subsequently annulled, with a decision to replay the match.
