Written by: Adel Khelifi on June 3, 2026

The Commission for the Organization of the Administration, its Development, Digitalization, Governance and the Fight Against Corruption will hold, this Tuesday, June 2, 2026, a session starting at 9:30 a.m., devoted to the examination of the bill relating to the organization of the exercise of marketing and promotional activities on electronic sites and social networks.

A session devoted to the conclusions of a study day

This meeting will notably address the conclusions of the study day organized around this bill, registered under number 42/2024.

The members of the commission will thus debate the main recommendations and observations formulated during this meeting, before continuing the examination of the legislative text.

A legal framework for an activity in full expansion

The bill aims to regulate the conduct of online marketing and promotional activities, in a context marked by the rapid development of digital platforms, electronic sites and social networks.

This text also operates in an environment where promotional content, commercial partnerships and the activities of content creators and influencers occupy an increasingly prominent place in the digital space.

Issues related to transparency and digital governance

The examination of this bill raises several questions related to the transparency of advertising content, consumer protection, the responsibility of actors in the digital sector, as well as the need to ensure a balance between freedom of initiative, legal regulation and good governance.

The commission will thus continue its work to deepen the study of the text and assess the necessary adjustments before the next steps of the legislative process.
