The city of Hammamet will host, from July 13 to 15 this year, the proceedings of the African Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, organized under the theme: “Towards intelligent and secure digital governance for the digital transformation of African governments.”
The organization of this important African event comes at the initiative of the Arab-Algerian Council for Scientific Cooperation, in collaboration with the University of Sfax, the University of Kairouan and the Libyan University of Al-Hofra, in order to highlight joint efforts aimed at building intelligent, secure and sustainable African governments.
The summit will bring together an elite of government officials, policymakers, experts, academics, researchers and pioneers of innovation from several African countries, in order to exchange on the latest trends in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation and intelligent governance.
This gathering aims to examine ways to strengthen African cooperation so as to build a secure and sustainable digital ecosystem, while further consolidating collaboration among African countries in the fields of digital innovation, knowledge exchange and capacity building.
The work of this summit should focus on the axes related to governance of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation within African governments, as well as intelligent governance, with the objective of establishing a secure and sustainable digital ecosystem.
