Pathé Cinema Festival Returns for Four Days in September 2024

The Cinema Celebration is making a comeback at your local Pathé theater from Saturday, September 7th through Tuesday, September 10th, 2024.

Back in 1985, the “Fête du Cinéma” was launched under the leadership of Jack Lang, who was then serving as France’s Minister of Culture, alongside industry professionals in an effort to promote cinema among the general public. The initiative aimed especially at engaging younger audiences and making films more accessible to everyone.

The “Fête du Cinéma” has grown into an annual gathering for film enthusiasts, which over time has expanded its reach, attracting more spectators across the entire country. It has evolved into a major cultural and community event that attracts large crowds to enjoy films on big screens in cinemas nationwide. The core mission has always been to facilitate audience access to movies in darkened theaters, creating shared moments of cinematic experience.

Pathé Tunisia is excited to announce the return of this special event, eager to re-create the extraordinary atmosphere of previous editions. With a second edition planned, the aim is to bring a renewed sense of festivity and togetherness to all Pathé cinemas, celebrating cinema as a communal experience.

During this event, audiences will benefit from cinema tickets at the special price of just 7 Tunisian dinars (DT) per ticket throughout the four days. A broad selection of films will be available for viewing, offering moviegoers a diverse choice of titles.*

*Note: This pricing excludes special screenings, 3D showings, and the use of 3D glasses.
