Samsung today announced the launch of the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra[i], giving access to the power of Galaxy AI[ii] to an ever-wider audience through connected devices designed to deliver the most complete wellness experience possible[iii].
These new models sit at the heart of Samsung’s vision for Galaxy AI, which aims to provide tailored insights so everyone can take better care of themselves. Getting precise, detailed information about one’s physical condition is essential to achieving that goal. That’s why the products integrate Samsung’s best-in-class sensors. The Galaxy Ring offers a simplified wellness approach by delivering health tracking and personalized insights simply by being worn—and this even works while you sleep. The Galaxy Watch7 optimizes everyday well-being with personalized workouts and smart, preventive tracking capabilities. The Galaxy Watch Ultra, the latest model in the Galaxy Watch line, is Samsung’s most capable smartwatch to date, built for those who want to push their limits, especially in outdoor sports.
“Our new wearables incorporate Samsung’s most advanced technologies and innovations to empower people to manage their well-being with preventive solutions,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience at Samsung. “The guidance and measurements delivered by the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra will help users turn data into actionable insights and usher in a new era of wellness-centered experiences.”
Galaxy Ring: The ideal health and well-being partner at your fingertip
Originating Samsung’s new line of wearables, the Galaxy Ring[iv] is a simple solution designed to accompany the user on their daily wellness journey. It encapsulates Samsung’s sensor expertise in the smallest, lightest, most discreet form[v] and provides the data needed to understand oneself better. Built for 24/7 monitoring[vi], the Galaxy Ring is ultra-light[vii]2.3 to 3.2 g only[viii], ensuring optimal comfort even during extended wear. This is all the more notable given its endurance of up to seven days[ix] and a fast-charging charging case[x] equipped with an LED indicator showing the ring’s charge level.
The Galaxy Ring is a true jewel, with refined styling and elegant curves. Its concave surface adds a touch of sophistication while maximizing durability. In addition, its water resistance up to 10 ATM[xi] and Grade 5 titanium finish[xii] allow for worry-free wear.
Available in three colors – Black, Silver, and Gold – and in nine different sizes.
The Galaxy Ring is the ideal health and wellness partner at your fingertips. It enables continuous, personalized tracking so users can take care of themselves effortlessly, with precision that improves over time thanks to Galaxy AI. All data are centralized and freely accessible from the Samsung Health platform[xiii].
Well-being starts with sleep, and the Galaxy Ring delivers Samsung’s best-in-class sleep analysis[xiv] via a powerful AI algorithm that helps users easily understand their habits. Beyond Sleep Score and snoring analysis, new measures such as movements during sleep, time to fall asleep, heart rate, and respiration contribute to even more precise insights. Menstrual cycle tracking[xv] also happens at night, thanks to skin temperature measurements.
Upon waking, Galaxy AI generates detailed analyses, including the Sleep Coach[xvi]. The new Energy Score[xvii], powered by Galaxy AI, tracks daily physical condition. Users can then follow recommendations based on their current state to identify the efforts needed to adopt healthy routines and start the day on the right foot. The Energy Score rests on four key factors: sleep, activity, heart rate, and heart rate variability during sleep. Users can also receive personalized guidance at every step of their journey through tailored Well-being Tips[xviii].
The Galaxy Ring also helps users stay active and motivated through automatic detection and tracking of walking and running, with alerts sent to their smartphone if inactivity lasts too long[xx].
Finally, the Galaxy Ring is fully integrated into the Galaxy ecosystem, simplifying everyday life. Users can, for example, control their Galaxy Z Fold6 or Z Flip6 to trigger the camera remotely or to silence an alarm. It’s as simple as double-pinching the finger wearing the ring against the thumb[xxii]. It’s also possible to locate your Galaxy Ring from a Galaxy smartphone using the Samsung Find app[xxiii].
The Galaxy Ring is transforming Samsung’s wellness tracking in the most compact form the brand has ever designed. It marks the arrival of a new era in health and well-being with Galaxy AI integrated.
Galaxy Watch7: everyday well-being
The Galaxy Watch7 also measures the user’s heart rate in real time and can alert if it is too low or too high. Additionally, it provides a deeper understanding of heart health through ECG (electrocardiogram) functionality and blood pressure measurement.
These advanced measurements are made possible by Samsung’s latest components, including the new BioActive sensor, which delivers greater precision. For the first time, the Galaxy Watch7 makes it easy to monitor Advanced Glycation End-products (AGE) through the AGE index. Heavily influenced by diet and lifestyle, AGE reflects the natural aging process and provides an indicator of metabolic health.
Powered by the series’ most capable chip and, for the first time, a 3nm process, the Galaxy Watch7 offers a smoother experience and up to 30% better energy efficiency[xxxi].
Moreover, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 are the first Galaxy Watches to feature a dual-band GPS system[xxxii], delivering improved user location tracking even in dense urban environments. This is ideal for runners in city settings.
The Galaxy Watch7 also delivers a more intuitive experience across Galaxy devices connected to its ecosystem. For example, double-pinching two fingers can interact with a Galaxy smartphone to answer a call or stop an alarm[xxxiv]. It is also compatible with Samsung Wallet[xxxv] for easy payments or contactless transit validation directly from the watch.
Finally, with Galaxy AI, the Galaxy Watch7 provides smart, context-aware auto-replies generated based on prior messages exchanged with the contact[xxxvi].
The Galaxy Watch7 comes in two sizes: 40mm, available in Green and Cream, and 44mm, in Green and Silver. It is also compatible with a wide range of new bands[xxxvii] and dials to suit personal style.

Galaxy Watch Ultra: pushing beyond your limits
Beyond the features of the Galaxy Watch7, the Galaxy Watch Ultra relies on Samsung’s most advanced tracking capabilities and components to deliver high-end performance for the most demanding users. While it follows the traditional circular design of Galaxy Watch models, the Ultra adopts a new angular chassis that enhances ruggedness and gives it a stately look.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is built for exceptional durability. With a Grade 4 titanium frame[xxxviii] and water resistance of 10 ATM[xxxix], it invites wearers to push their boundaries. It operates across a wide altitude range from –500 m below sea level to 9,000 m above sea level, ready for the harshest conditions[xl].
The Galaxy Watch Ultra enables multi-sport training, including triathlon-style workouts—from swimming to cycling to running—thanks to the new Multisports feature. Additionally, a new cycling functional threshold power (FTP) metric measures peak power in just four minutes via FTP measurements[xli] powered by AI. The Galaxy Watch Ultra also offers a more advanced personalized heart-rate zone for training at the intensity that matches the wearer’s capabilities[xlii].
Thanks to the new Quick Action Button, users can start and control a workout instantly. A long press (5 seconds) on this button can also trigger a loud emergency siren[xliii] for added safety. With a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, the display of the Galaxy Watch Ultra remains perfectly readable in bright sunlight and automatically switches to Night mode[xliv] in the dark for comfort in all conditions. Finally, the Galaxy Watch Ultra delivers the series’ longest battery life, up to 100 hours in Power Saving mode[xlv] and 48 hours if Power Saving mode is used during exercise[xlvi].
The Galaxy Watch Ultra[xlvii] will be available in 47 mm, Titanium Gray, Titanium White, and Titanium Silver.
The Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are the first Wear OS Android smartwatches to run Wear OS 5.

The Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra are available in France for pre-order and will go on sale starting July 24. Until July 23 (midnight), customers who purchase a Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra will receive an additional strap[xlix].
