The Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Villages announced that the donations collected for SOS Palestine’s villages, amounting to 2.612 million dinars (2,612,000 dinars), were transferred to the Palestinian association’s bank account in Ramallah. These funds were distributed to the children of Gaza on the occasion of the back-to-school season.
These donations were gathered thanks to the generous and positive mobilization of Tunisian donors, within the solidarity campaign launched by the association for three months, from September 10 to December 9, 2025, in support of Palestinian children and in response to the humanitarian needs identified by SOS Children’s Villages Palestine.
The Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Villages clarified that this collection was carried out under the authorization granted to the association by the Presidency of the Tunisian Government, enabling it to collect donations from the public for SOS Children’s Villages Palestine.
On this occasion, SOS Children’s Villages Palestine sent a message of thanks to the Presidency of the Republic, to the Presidency of the Government, to the Tunisian people, and to the Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Villages, in recognition of the support and backing provided to Palestinian children.
In its message, the organization also praised the scale of solidarity expressed by Tunisians, noting that these contributions constitute significant support for Palestinian children and contribute to the efforts undertaken by the organization to meet their needs.
The Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Villages, for its part, extended its heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to all donors, partners and media, as well as to all individuals who contributed to the success of this solidarity campaign. It stressed that the delivery of these donations to the beneficiaries illustrates the value of human solidarity and collective responsibility toward children.
The association also thanked the International Office of the International Federation of SOS Children’s Villages, in Austria, for its support of this initiative.
