Michelin Editions is reconnecting with Tunisia as a travel destination. On the occasion of the 48th edition of the IFTM Top Resa 2026 professional tourism trade show, Michelin announced the reintegration of Tunisia into its collection with the presentation of the new “Green Guide Tunisia,” after a ten-year absence, the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts said on Thursday.
Fully devoted to the Tunisian destination, this new guide was presented on September 15, 2026 at the Tunisian pavilion of IFTM Top Resa. It highlights the tourist, cultural, and historical richness of Tunisia, proposing a selection of must-see sites to discover across the country.
Targeted in particular at lovers of heritage, discoveries, and cultural tourism, the Green Guide Tunisia will be available in bookstores and online starting September 25, 2026.
Michelin travel guides are published by Michelin Editions, which offers more than 1,000 references covering 90 countries. The year 2026 also marks the 100th anniversary of the Michelin Travel Guides.
At their creation, these guides were primarily intended for motorists in France. They provided practical information on routes, service stations, garages as well as hotels, before gradually evolving toward guides dedicated to the discovery of destinations from a tourist and cultural perspective.
