Tunis will host on May 5 and 6 the fifth edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility Forum, with broad participation from international experts, decision-makers, and business leaders.

This year’s edition will center on a strategic issue titled: “Corporate decarbonization: what strategy to reposition the Tunisian economy?” This initiative aims to highlight the necessity for the national economic fabric to commit to the green transition in order to meet environmental challenges and the intensification of international competition.

The forum’s program includes a series of panels led by experts in sustainable development and leaders of green innovation, to debate best practices in renewable energy and sustainability.

The forum will also offer a dedicated space for in-depth thinking workshops, aimed at developing concrete solutions in the face of mounting environmental pressures and the technological shifts imposed by global markets.

The organizers noted that this fifth edition aims to help Tunisian companies adopt socially responsible policies, especially at a time when international requirements related to the “carbon footprint” are multiplying. In this context, “decarbonization” becomes an essential condition for strengthening the competitiveness of Tunisian products for export.

On the sidelines of the forum, an evening ceremony for the CSR Awards will be held on the evening of May 5. This annual event aims to highlight the most notable initiatives in environmental and social domains, and to distinguish the companies that have managed to integrate the principles of sustainable development at the heart of their business model.

The forum also plans the organization of specialized training sessions, certified by certificates, aimed at strengthening the skills of Tunisian executives in the fields of the energy transition and responsible innovation, thereby contributing to the construction of a resilient national economy capable of facing climate changes.

It should be recalled that this forum constitutes an important annual networking platform among economic actors, social partners and experts, in order to outline the contours of a more sustainable economic future in Tunisia.
