Written by: Adel Khelifi on October 27, 2026

The Tunis Stock Exchange closed the session on Monday, October 26, 2026, down 0.14%. If the capitalised amount reaches 25.12 million dinars, more than two-thirds come from two registration operations. On the market, trading amounts to 7.99 million dinars.

The Tunindex slips, but still gains 36.69% since January

The Tunindex closes at 18,384.58 points (-0.14%) and the Tunindex 20 at 8,051.88 points (-0.16%). The session ends with 32 stocks down, 18 up and 14 unchanged. Nine securities were not listed and two remain suspended.

Since the start of the year, the Tunindex nevertheless shows a rise of 36.69%. It remains 14.70% below its July 17 peak (21,552.73 points). The stock market capitalization reaches 45.29 billion dinars, down 0.19% for the day.

25.12 million dinars recorded, including 17.14 million in registrations

The total volume of the session stands at exactly 25,120,452 dinars. It includes 7,985,452 dinars of trades on listed securities, corresponding to 471,217 shares and 1,955 transactions, as well as 17,135,000 dinars of registrations, spread over two operations.

An enregistrement is a transaction concluded off the order book and then reported to the Stock Exchange. These operations represent 68.21% of the session’s capital: they should therefore not be confused with the liquidity of listed securities. No block transaction was reported.
