Written by: Adel Khelifi on September 19, 2026

The Ministry of Equipment has issued a notice to road users of local road No. 457 (Saint-Gobain Road toward Mégrine), linking Tunis to Mégrine, at the Saint-Gobain Bridge.

This road will be closed at the bridge in the Mégrine direction on Sunday and Monday, September 20 and 21, 2026, from 22:00 to 04:00, as part of works to widen the southern entrance of the capital (lot No. 1).

Motorists coming from the center of Tunis and heading toward Mégrine may take Avenue Moncef Bey, then the Bab Alioua Bridge, before joining National Road No. 1.

They may also pass via the Saint-Gobain Bridge toward El Mourouj, then take the Bir El Kassaa interchange toward Radès, before joining National Road No. 1.

The Ministry of Equipment has urged users of this route to exercise caution and to respect the traffic signage put in place for this purpose.
