TUNISIAONLINENEWS- Tunisia continues to shine globally in the ICT sector. According to the 9th Global Information Technology Report 2009-2010 (GITR), Tunisia ranks first in Africa and 39th in the world.

The report, jointly worked out by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the European Institute of Business Management, assesses countries’ ability to command communication technologies according to three main criteria: the adequate political and economic environment for the development of new technologies, the rate of use of new ICT and the level of technological development.
