RCD Secretary-General receives US ambassador in Tunis

Constitutional Democratic Rally (RCD) Secretary-General Mohamed Ghariani received, on Tuesday in Tunis, Mr. Gordon Gray, the United States of America ambassador in Tunis.

The talk turned on the privileged ties binding Tunisia and the United States and made it possible to reassert joint will to further develop bilateral relations in the different areas. It also provided the opportunity to highlight the need to strengthen political relations and diversify their fields, in such a manner as to consolidate the historic relations tying the two countries and open up new horizons in matters of co- operation between the two peoples.

The RCD Secretary-General underscore, on the occasion, the remarkable progress Tunisia has achieved, thanks to the President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali’s enlightened policy, such a advancement that helped the country strengthen the foundations of stability and development and become model in several sectors.

The US ambassador expressed delight to work in Tunisia and voiced consideration for the progress the country has made and the efforts it has exerted to attain its development goals.(TAP)
