Syrine Ben Moussa carries soft Tunisian musical breeze to Paris

TUNISIAONLINENEWS- “Breeze from Tunisia” (Brises tunisiennes) is the title of Syrine Ben Moussa’s forthcoming show which the Tunisian singer will give on December 5, at the Arab World Institute in Paris.

The show which is entirely dedicated to malouf (traditional Arab- andalusian music and chant) and to classical Tunisian music, is expected to attract a large audience of connoisseurs and malouf lovers.

The singer who resides in Paris told “TUNISIAONLINENEWS” that her show is “a blending of sacred and profane malouf music, even if this time it is about returning to the sources, with a new reading of Tunisia’s musical heritage”.

A native from Testour, Tunisia’s capital of the malouf, Syrine Ben Moussa is the new ambassadress of Arab- Andalous music which she claims as “an integral part of her identity and a return to a dreamed of Andalusia”.
