Tunisian-American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) holds press conference
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- The Tunisian-American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) organized on Friday a press conference to shed light on the different aspects of activities and preparations to organize the annual celebration.
Mr. Nazih Ben Ammar, President of the Tunisian- American Chamber of Commerce explained that the chamber has been organizing such event for four years during which awards were distributed to companies and institutions operating in different industrial sectors and services that achieve good results in the areas of activity in Tunisia.

The event will be held on December 5th, 2009 during which 4 companies operating in the areas of investment, export, social and environmental management and economic development will be honored.
He emphasized the fact that the event is an opportunity to publicize the economic and trade relations between Tunisia and the U.S., noting in the same context that the number of institutions registers 74 institutions in the sectors of information, communication and pharmaceuticals sector and food industries providing 18 new jobs with investments of about 750 million U.S. dollar in Tunisia.
The core objective of TACC is to facilitate and promote the establishment of US companies in Tunisia and to encourage US investment in the country. It also aims at providing support to Tunisian companies engaging in commercial activities in the USA with particular focus on facilitating market access
Mr. Ben Ammar, also added that many Tunisian companies such as eurocast (70% of its exports were directed to the United States) achieved great results due to their links with the “Silicon Valley”.
