Montassar Zaghouan and Mourad Ghzaiel, both natives of Zeramdine (governorate of Monastir), said in a statement to the press that their journey is set under the theme “Peace and solidarity among young people of the world”, adding that the idea to cross the African continent came to them last February.
The two young adventurers who are equipped with a good amount of “bsissa” (a nutritional Tunisian cereal food) along with several maps, Tunisian flags and posters where one can read, “Tunisia land of peace, stability meeting and dialogue”,  hope to complete their  journey on June 3, 2010.
